Every five years, the Office of Dental Health coordinates a county-wide strategic planning process that engages stakeholders including health professionals, oral health advocates, community residents, and community-based organizations. The first Alameda County Strategic Plan for Oral Health 2012-2017 has served as a blueprint to move oral health efforts in Alameda County.
