Outreach and Education

The Office of Dental Health participates and holds a number of outreach events throughout the year. Our events are throughout the Alameda County; we provide oral health education, screenings, preventive dental services such as fluoride varnish, and linkages to ongoing dental care for community residents. We also participate in health fairs when community based organizations or residents request us. The outreach events occur in schools, Family Resource Centers, apartment complexes, at community- and faith based organizations.
